My big would be obsessed

My big is absolutely obsessed with bows. And since the ones on these shoes are removable, I can wear the shoes too (thank God we're the same shoe size!) without having bows on them. Personally, I'm a huge fan of the red pair, but the blush color is really nice too.

Since you can remove the bows, you can really put them anywhere, which makes the shoe really versatile (and WORTH IT).

They're a 4 1/2 inch heel with a 1 inch platform, so I hope whoever I go out with is tall, especially if I'm going to be rocking these puppies.

GI Jane gets a little girly

Cargo shorts are not necessarily OK in my book, but cargo pants can be cute when they huge the right areas. These are cute enough to be badass but not bad as hell. Also, they're so cheap that even if you only wear them once or twice, it'll probably still be super worth it. But if you're going to do cargo pants, go with heels. And definitely a cute ruffle top.

(Pants) Charlotte Russe $14.99

This top is just girly enough that it can work with the pants, but not too girly that it looks weird. It's form-fitting and the ruffles definitely girl it up. You could pair it with a lacey or super soft cashmere cardigan in an off-white color to keep it even cuter.

(Top) Charlotte Russe $9.99

Now for some shoes. You need some wedges. These are girly and badass at the same time and they're super tall so that the short girls out there can wear them. Unfortunately for me, I don't need them. But with my 6'3 requirement for men, I can still wear these.

(Shoes) Charlotte Russe $32.50

Avaitors are a necessity for any badass looking outfit, especially with the cargo pants they'll work super well. These are really cheap, which works mostly because in this outfit you're bound to get hit on and someone will rip them off of your face.

(Sunglasses) Charlotte Russe $5

This bag isn't super matchy, but it definitely matches. It's a neutral, get over it super matchy people. Also, the bow tie on the front gives it a girly flare. Also, you cant really see it in this small picture, but it's a lacey print on the bag to add even more girlishness to it.

(Bag) Charlotte Russe $14.50

Sorry this whole outfit was from one place, but I guess it makes it easy, right?

Total for this outfit: $76.98. Not bad, huh? Especially since, on a beer budget, you can re-purpose the bag, shoes and sunglasses with just about any outfit, including a few I've already posted on here! I think I'm going to order some of the things in my Shopping Bag on CharlotteRusse.com now.

When white on white is OK

Whites. Necessary for any (or most) soror girls out there. Especially me! Anyway this dress is super cute and you could probably pull off wearing it other places than just when necessary for the sorority (like a wedding or something).

(Dress) Target $39.99

Now, a white dress isn't that hard to come by this time of year, but cute white shoes aren't the easy part. Now, we all know you can only wear them out between Memorial Day and Labor Day, but Initiation is in December for us and white shoes are an absolute must!

For some reason I cant get the images of the shoes from DSW.com, so I'm just going to throw a couple of links into descriptions.

Pair #1: 2 inch heel, pointed toe $49.95
Pair #2: 4 1/2 inch heel, rounded toe, bow tie on the side $139.95
Pair #3: 3 1/2 inch heel, pointed toe, has rouched fabric $69.95
Pair #4: 1/2 inch platform, 3 3/4 heel, rounded toe, satin fabric $39.95

Then, if you don't want to do heels, there's always a simple pair of flats.

(Shoes) Target $12.99

Blue dresses for the Big

(Dress) Express - $128. Ok, so this one isn't super blue, but the blue and sea foam green are awesome colors. And the rouching is absolute perfection. I know, believe me, because I have this dress in a floral print. Aka I will definitely be borrowing this and it will at least get more than once use.

Now, dress #2. (Dress) Lulus.com $47. This one is definitely more blue and it has an adorable back to it. (Click the link on the word "Dress" to see it.) It's cheap, which is good because most formal dresses really only get worn once or twice anyway. But this one on the right here is pretty classic and you could probably even wear it to work with a blazer or something.
Well, since the Little (me) is bored at work and neglecting the tasks she has to do, I'm searching through tons of blue dresses. This one is more of a navy color and definitely formal enough to wear to formal. (Dress) Lulus.com $37.50. Did I mention it's also on sale?

Side note: Just went on BCBG.com and blue is totally in right now! Go Big for having the style of the season down. Now for more dresses! But heres the disclaimer: BCBG is expensive. Definitely champagne status. Good thing my Big will be getting paid $20/hour next semester on co-op. Making paperrrr. The first one here is color block, which is definitely in as well. (Dress) BCBG $173

Now, option number two is one shoulder, more elegant and definitely more expensive. (Dress) BCBG $264.60. Oh, the price of beauty.

A little on the crazy side, the last dress I found  at BCBG is just barely cheaper than that last one, but definitely unique. It will absolutely draw attention and turn heads. (Dress) BCBG $243.60. Oh, did I mention that all the BCBG dresses I just showed you were on SALE. The prices of these things originally are insane, I won't even tell you for fear that your eyes will bleed in shock.

Anyway, I have a few stories to post now so that's all the blue dress I have for you now. Stay tuned for more. As well as shoes to go with them. My favorite part.

Drool worthy

Can we all just drool over these shoes for a second? I'm trying very very hard not to rip out my debit card and hit these up. Oh Victoria's Secret, how I love you so. These would make the guy I was with last semester drop his jaw to the floor. But who cares about his actions? No one.

This type of shoe is why I have a 6'3 requirement. I love them too much to not be able to wear them. They're $75 but I'm highly considering buying them this very instant.

I wish someone would just buy them for me. I have no reason to get them, no event I need new heels for. Just pure desire. So for anyone looking to get me a gift I wish scream and potentially cry over: This is it.

Summertime and the livin's easy

Summer feel so close, even though it's really not. But let's get some beachy attire goin' on here. I'm on VoctoriasSecret.com right now and going absolutely wild over the new swim things. But shoes are really the most important part (even though if you're going to the beach they won't be on for very long).

(Shoes) Victoria's Secret $29. Every girl's gotta be pretty in pink (wedges).

Now, this chick is wearing this dress all wrong for the season, but just imagine it. Without the stupid trench and with the gold belt from my first post. (Dress) Victoria's Secret $29.99.
Only a little accessorizing is necessary with this outfit. You don't want to have too much metallic going on since it's a beachy dinner date kind of look. These are perfect because they get the point of that across.

(Bracelets) Forever 21 $6.80.

Total for this outfit $65.79. When you consider this outfit is only 3 elements, this can seem pretty steep, but these shoes can be worn with the dress in the post before this too, or even the one from Wednesday. Plus who doesn't love a good pink shoe? Especially if you're a DZ Princess it's totally necessary to have in the closet.

It's beginning to feel a lot like springtime

Oh, H&M. We just featured the hell out of them in The Huntington News in an article about summer fashion. They might as well sponsor us. (Dress) H&M $22.80.

Now, when it comes to shoes, I wasn't sure whether I wanted to go colorful or traditional with black. So I have both options for you, obviously. The orange wedges aren't super practical, but they're adorable as hell and I'm sure you could find another alternative use for them...maybe. (Shoes) Zappos.com $89. Yeah yeah yeah, they're a little expensive ("champagne option"), but the black one's aren't, don't worry.

These can definitely be worn on a more-than-once kind of basis, which makes them more worth it. The "beer option" of the day. I mean, florals are super super in for this season, so they're hot as hell. But black. Just remember that. (Shoes) Zappos.com $49.95. Wedges are apparently easy to walk in too, another plus.

Obviously you need a bag to go with this. And cross-body bags are really practical and girly. This bag is only if you go for the BLACK shoes option. Don't want to be too multi-colored with orange shoes and a coral bag, yikes. Go with a neutral tone, like this bag, if you choose the colorful shoes. (Bag) Forever21 $22.80.

Now for a pair of earrings to top it all off. Wear your hair down and messy curly by the way. It'll be a super chill look with a bunch of sweet elements from this season. (Earrings) Forever 21 $3.80. Feathery, a different texture than the leatherette bag adds a little feminineness to the chunky heels and leather and chains bag.

Now for the total. Total for this outfit (with the black wedges) is $99.35. Total with the orange wedges is $138.40. You've gotta remember that I accessorize these outfits every time and you can really reuse many of them! You can add one of the belts I used in my first post over a simple white cardigan kind of like the one in this post, but not blue obviously.

DZ Princess

I am so proud to be a Delta Zeta. That said, sometimes you need a few champagne-worthy items in your wardrobe, especially if they're going to make you look absolutely adorable during recruitment or a special event. This scarf is one of those items. (Scarf) Lilly Pulitzer $118. So worth it. Look at it. It features turtles, roses and Roman lamps (our symbols) and what could be better than that? The Delta Zeta sorority scarf also happens to be the girliest and prettiest scarf in the sorority collection.

Now for the rest of the outfit, we're going to go super duper simple (and cheap) and super duper DZ. These shorts are a neutral khacki, which is perfect to be paired with a busy scarf. (Shorts) Forever 21 $15.80.

Then we need a simple tee so we're not walking around in a bra. (Top) Forever 21 $3.50. And how can you get better than three dollars and 50 cents!? You can't.

Now for some shoes. Since we're going super DZ, they need to be green, obviously. Now you have a few options when it comes to green shoes (not many though). The top pair are more wedge-y, but the bottom pair has a little heel on them too, and they're more for walking around, but I personally favor the top pair. (Wedge Shoes) Zappos.com $74.

The bottom pair are Lilly Pulitzer, which means they're EXPENSIVE. But every sorority princess needs to have a stacked shoe closet, right? Sorry for that weak justification, but don't fall in love with these puppies...or at the Jersey Shore. (Sandal Shoes) Lilly Pulitzer $268. Woof.

Total for this outfit (without the Lilly shoes, obviously) is $212.30. But remember that the Lilly scarf was basically 3/4 of that. So without the scarf (as in, if you plan on replacing it with a cheaper one) it'll only be $94.30. And if you already have a pair of green wedges, which I highly doubt, but pink will suffice too, the outfit is a whopping $20.30.

Getting Nauti(cal)

Shoes (Sperry Topsiders) $75.Oh Sperrys. Such a TFM. I mean, what's more fratty than a boat shoe. Not to mention a pastel boat shoe. I know these aren't really for a beer kinda wallet (but even the frat boys that drink the Natty Light splurge on these puppies) but I just got a pair and they're so comfy they're worth it.

Top (Old Navy). Now onward to the cheaper and more wallet friendly stuff. I went to OldNavy.com for the first time in a very long time today. This top was right on the homepage and I realized that maybe Old Navy is stepping up their game because this is super cute and for only $12.99 it's a steal, even if it'll fall apart in the washing machine.

Cardigan (Old Navy) $29.50Now, the cardigan may throw you off a bit. You may be thinking, "wait, those blues don't match!" But they do. The Sperry's are a lot lighter in person, I know, I'm wearing them right now. Plus, who said they had to be a perfect match?

Necklace (Old Navy) $10.50. This necklace works really well in tying everything together. The slight blue hint won't overpower the look but at least we all know you gave a shit about your accessories.

Necklace option 2 (Old Navy) $12.50. This one may be a better choice now that I look at them together. Pearls always keep it classy and they're a huge TSM. The blue ribbon shows us you matched but didn't go with the matchy-matchy lighter blue.

Total for this outfit (I used Necklace option 2 rather than option 1) is $130.39. Keep in mind that the Sperry's were literally more than half of that. Without the shoes, the outfit was only $55.39. Wear a simple pair of blue jeans with a medium wash so you're not pant-less.
